10th December, 2011 In the aftermath of the devastating floods of 2010, many people were left stranded without shelter and solid jobs to meet their living requirements. In the light of this harsh reality, PSU-Prime proposed the need for a vocational training center, specifically catering to the needs of the women who were victims of this natural calamity.
10th December, 2011 The vocational training center in Nowshera is a part of Prime Foundation and IDRF’s joint capacity building project for the women hailing from the flood affected regions of Nowshera and Charsaada. The main aim of the vocational training centre is capacity building of the women affected by the flood by imparting entrepreneurial skills to them so that they may be able to use these skills for running micro enterprises.
26th November, 2011 Peshawar, KPK – November 26, 2011 – The consequences of the cataclysmic floods of 2010 were not only manifested by the loss of human life but also left people without a safe haven and jobs to support their needs. This damage by the natural disaster called for various capacity building projects to alleviate the suffering of the flood victims.
