31st January, 2012 After the devastating 2010 floods, Prime Foundation and International Development and Relief Foundation (IDRF), Canada joined hands to aid the flood affected populations of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In this regard a Free Vocational Training Center was established for the flood affected females at Nowshera. It is operational for the past one year and is awarding courses in tailoring, embroidery and beauty care to the female youth.
11th January, 2012 The 7th batch of the refresher course formally commenced today, at Kuwait Teaching Hospital, Peshawar. The orientation session was preceded by the welcome address of the Director Project Support Unit, Prime Foundation, Dr. Saeed Anwar. During his address He shed light on the contributions and history of Prime Foundation in the field of development and highlighted the role of International Development and Relief Foundation (IDRF), in providing funding support for this project.
1st January, 2012 A closing ceremony for the Skills up-gradation course was held on the 1st of January 2012 at the Moon Welfare Vocational Center. The chief guest of the ceremony was Dr. Maqsood Ali Khan, Provincial Technical Officer W.H.O.
