Prime Foundation, Pakistan, has been actively investing its efforts in promotion of infant and child health and hygiene in several districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa since 5 years. This year, the month of August was dedicated to promotion of breastfeeding and was celebrated with community awareness sessions throughout districts where Prime Foundation has its footprint.
Community workers held a number of sessions for local communities and IDPs in different union councils of district DI Khan. Educational material was also distributed among the participants. This effort was made in partnership with Department of Health, Govt. of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, ERF and UNICEF.
