8th May, 2014 Dr. Muhammad Fazal Zeeshan’s poster was presented at the 19th annual International Forum for Quality and Safety in Healthcare (a BMJ event) which took place in Paris from April 8-11, 2014. The co-researcher Dr. Allard E. Dembe, Professor (Division of Health Services Management & Policy) at The Ohio State University, USA presented the poster.

The research studied the cost estimates related to adverse events in a hospitalized setting. Primarily, it highlighted the variability in and the magnitude of the hospital costs related to surgical adverse events of different types. The poster abstract can be viewed on the following link.
