30th April, 2011 A two day health promoters training workshop was conducted at Peshawar Medical College, in support of the static clinics of the Project Support Unit of the Community Health Sciences Department. PRIME Foundation is currently running static clinic in 4 districts of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, including, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera and D.I Khan.
The training session was facilitated by Dr. Azra Haroon and Ms. Waheeda. The participants included paramedical stall and EPI technicians who will be conducting health education sessions in the Static clinics of PRIME Foundation. The trainees included both female and male participants who will start their duty from the 2nd of May. The workshop was organized by Dr. Ahsan Sethi, Project Officer of PSU. The session was also attended by Dr. Saeed Anwar (Head, Department of Community Health Sciences and Director PSU) and Dr. Usman Raza (Assistant Professor and Deputy Director PSU). At the end of the training session Dr. Saeed, Dr. Usman and Dr. Ahsan Sethi distributed certificates among the participants and the facilitators.
