- applying the appropriate methods for describing data using biostatistical analysis
- use of point estimation and confidence interval in statistical analysis
- present descriptive data to a public health audience and statistical analysis findings
- manuscript writing and submission to an indexed journal
Course faculty
Dr. Umair Qazi
Dr. Umair is an MD from Romania and a Master's in Public Health from George Washington University in Washington DC. He is a certified clinical research practitioner with over 12 years of experience as a research faculty at Johns Hopkins University, Department of Surgery, School of Medicine. He serves as Assistant Professor Epidemiology and Biostatistics at PIPH. Currently he is also in charge of the research unit at PIPH.
