Profile
Dr. Salma Khalid is an environmental specialist, researcher and faculty member. She holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from University of Peshawar. Currently, she is working as Assistant Professor at Prime Institute of Public Health, Peshawar. She has worked as Assistant Professor at Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan for two years and as Lecturer/ Coordinator at Department of Medical Education and Research, Peshawar for one and a half year. She has been involved in public health and environmental research and has several of her papers published in national and international journals.
Her research interests include spatial and temporal changes in various climate parameters including temperature, precipitation pattern, humidity cloudiness, sunshine, effects on river discharge, natural resource, landscape, deforestation, agriculture, disaster risk management and health impacts.
